Barre Body has upsized to a new flagship studio in Flinders Lane, catering to booming demand  in Melbourne’s CBD.

Barre Body is a workout that fuses yoga and pilates with ballet barre conditioning to strengthen and tone your body, create longer, leaner muscles and improve flexibility.  The classes follow an interval training format to promote fast results and fat burning.

Emma Seibold opened the first Barre Body studio in Melbourne two years ago after the birth of her first son.  She was so surprised by the results she got from incorporating barre conditioning work to her yoga practice, she wanted to share it with others.  With four studios now operating in Melbourne (and more in the pipeline) and two in Sydney, it appears many others are enjoying the benefits of beautifully toned bods too.

Emma says:

It’s so much fun and it really works to tone your body. We were the first barre studio in Melbourne and we have built a very loyal following.

With four class styles to choose from  (barre body, barre moves, barre tone and barre cardio) and a range of pilates and yoga classes, there’s little chance of getting bored.

I ditched my beloved reformer pilates classes for a week to find out what all the excitement is about and I too was pleasantly surprised with the results.  The addition of yoga moves made such a noticeable difference to my muscle  length and flexibility I just might be auditioning for the next stage production of Swan Lake.
